From Pasture to Plate: How Pricing Works

Beef shares are invoiced based on the actual hanging weight of your specific animal at the time of harvest.

  • Average quarter beef share: 150–175 lbs hanging weight (weight of the carcass after harvesting)

  • Beef price: $7.00 per lb (hanging weight) + Butcher Fees

  • Required deposit: $250 to reserve your share

Your final invoice reflects the true cost of raising, harvesting, and professionally processing high-quality grass-fed beef.
