You are placing a deposit for a beef that will be harvested this summer. Once you butcher date is assigned, you will be contacted with the pickup time and location. 

1/8 Beef Share: For a flat fee of $750, you’ll receive approximately 50 pounds of premium 100% grass-fed and finished Angus beef. This price includes the meat, standard cutting and wrapping, and butcher fees. A $100 deposit is required at the time you place your order, with the remaining $650 due at pickup.

Our Beef

At Oregon Meat Co., we take pride in raising our Certified Black Angus cattle in a natural and humane environment. From birth, our cattle are pasture-raised, spending their entire lives roaming freely on lush Oregon pastures. This not only enhances the quality of the beef but also ensures that it is:

  • Antibiotic-free: Our cattle are raised without the use of antibiotics.
  • Hormone-free: We do not administer growth hormones, allowing our beef to develop naturally.

Our Eight Beef Share

Our Eighth Beef Share is designed for households of 1–2 people with limited freezer space and includes a standard assortment of premium cuts. Eighth beef shares are packaged using our standard cut list and are not customizable, making this a simple, convenient option for stocking your freezer with a variety of high-quality cuts. Cut selection may vary slightly, and substitutions may be made at the butcher’s discretion. 

A Typical Eighth Beef Share:

  • 1–2 packages rib eye steaks
  • 1–2 packages New York steaks
  • 2 packages of sirloin steaks
  • 1–2 packages of sirloin tip steaks
  • 1–2 packages bottom round steaks
  • 1–2 packages of top round steak
  • 1 package of short ribs
  • 2 chuck roasts
  • 1 rump or cross rib roast
  • ½ brisket or brisket portion
  • 15–20 lbs ground beef, stew meat
  • 1–2 packages of meaty soup bones
  • 1 package of flank steak or skirt steak
  • Portion of fat/bones/and organs

From Pasture to Plate: Flat-Rate Pricing

Eighth Beef Share: $750 flat fee

You’ll receive approximately 50 pounds of premium 100% grass-fed and finished Angus beef.

This flat price includes:

  • The meat

  • Standard cutting and wrapping

  • Butcher fees

Required deposit: $100 to reserve your share
Remaining balance: $650 due at pickup

Your final price is fixed — no hanging weight calculations or surprise costs.

Pickup & Delivery

Free Pickup Events

We host free beef pickup events in Albany, Salem, Scio, and Portland. Pickup dates and details will be shared in advance.

Home Delivery

Home delivery is available for a $25 delivery fee and is limited to locations within 5 miles of I-5 from Eugene to Portland. Deliveries beyond this range may be available and will incur additional fees based on distance.

Oregon Meat Co Policies (Please Read Before Ordering)

Deposits & Order Reservations

  • $100 deposit is required to reserve your 1/8 beef share.
  • Deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions.
  • Orders are not reserved until the deposit payment has been received.
  • SNAP/EBT cannot be used to place a deposit.

SNAP/EBT Policy

  • SNAP/EBT payments must be completed in person at pickup.
  • SNAP/EBT cannot be used for deposits, delivery fees, or ineligible items.

Final Invoice & Accepted Payment Methods

  • Final invoices must be paid in full by the scheduled pickup time or delivery day.
  • Accepted payment methods include:
    • Cash
    • Check
    • SNAP/EBT (eligible items only, in person)
    • Credit card
    • Venmo (@oregonmeat)
    • Zelle

Credit Card Processing Fee

  • Final invoices paid by credit card will include a $25 processing fee to offset credit card processing fees.
  • This fee does not apply to cash, check, SNAP/EBT, Venmo, or Zelle payments.

Pickup, Storage & Late Fees

  • Orders must be picked up during the designated pickup window or on the scheduled delivery day.
  • Meat not delivered on the scheduled delivery/pick up day will be placed into cold storage. You will need to make an appointment to pick up your meat from the farm located at 41354 Shindler Bridge Drive, Scio, OR.
  • $20 per week storage fee will apply to all orders not picked up on the designated day.
  • Storage fees must be paid before product release.
  • Repeated missed pickups may result in loss of future ordering privileges.
